From the small bedside Echo Show 5 to the 15-inch version you can hang on the wall, Amazon's top touch-screen smart displays are on sale now as part of its Mother's Day deals.

If you're looking to upgrade your Echo device to one with a touch screen, you're in luck. Amazon's smart displays are on sale now as part of the company's Mother's Day deals, which includes up to 50% off Amazon devices, but you can also grab these discounts at Best Buy.

On the low end, the 5.5-inch Echo Show 5 is more than 40% off at just $49.99 (Amazon and Best Buy). In our review, we found that it's a capable smart display for virtually anywhere in your home, particularly your nightstand. It features a 960-by-480-pixel screen, a 2MP camera in the top-right corner, Bluetooth, and—of course—Alexa voice control.

The Kids version, meanwhile, adds a one-year subscription to Amazon Kids+ ($2.99 per month for Prime members after the first year), and a two-year "worry-free guarantee," which includes free replacements for broken displays. Save $35 and get it for $59.99 (Amazon and Best Buy).

Our Editors' Choice pick in this category, though, is the 8-inch version. Amazon's second-generation Echo Show 8 smart display offers just the right balance of price, performance, and size, with an updated camera for an even better video chat and home security experience. Here, you upgrade to a 1,280-by-800-pixel display and 13MP camera. And it's now $40 off at just $89.99 (Amazon and Best Buy).

Amazon is not offering a discount on its 10-inch Echo Show (the one that follows you around the room), but if you're looking for a large smart display, its newest Echo Show 15 is now $199.99 (Amazon and Best Buy), a $50 discount.

The company's largest screen to date—measuring 9.9-by-15.8-by-1.4 inches (HWD) and weighing 4 pounds, 4 ounces—hangs from the wall like a framed, matted piece of art. It comes with a mounting bracket and hardware for securing to the wall; if you want to leave it on the counter, you'll need to spend an extra $30 for a custom tilt stand.

The 15-inch, 1,920-by-1,080-pixel touch screen highlights the newest Echo Show feature: at-a-glance information and media widgets. Arrange your choice of integrated apps—calendars, maps, reminders, shopping lists, smart home controls, sticky notes, weather reports—in two rows of tiles that appear when you look at the device.

Connect with far-flung family and friends by making voice or video calls to anyone with an Echo or Echo Show device or the Alexa mobile app; Amazon also provides support for Skype and Zoom chats over the 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
