Looking for something to do on a late summer weekend?

Head over to Mount Clemens where the second annual Downtown Fall & Craft Show for two days of browsing for an early Christmas gift or just something for around the house, along with free live music.

Even Mother Nature is cooperating as the National Weather Service is forecasting mostly sunny conditions, with highs in the low 80-degree range. The rain is expected to hold off until after the show closes Saturday night.

The family-friendly Art & Craft show will display a variety of products for sale and many of artists will be on hand to answer questions.

Some of the vendors include:

• Daily Karmas – artwork made with beach glass and driftwood • Ruby’s Barkery – gourmet fresh baked dog treats for good pups

• Jameson Galleries – beaded jewelry • Lakeshore Impressions – metal art • Scrupulous Soaps – soap and skincare products – • The Woodcrafter – wood birdhouse/feeders, wood trays, bat houses • Crafty Etty – handcrafted jewelry • Gary’s Leather Works – handmade leather items – purses, wallets, bags and more • Bougie Parfume Candles – soy candles • Bella donna Baubles – handmade gemstone Jewelry

Live entertainment will be provided Friday and Saturday, sponsored by Ardis Music and the Mount Clemens Downtown Development Authority.

Entertainment starts at 7 p.m. Friday with music by Soul Commission with Kathleen Murray as part of Uptown Friday Night Concert.

On Saturday, it’s Kevin Tarnas at 10 a.m., Olivia VanGoor at noon, Tom Bartelmay at 2 p.m. and Jim Woolsey finishes out the set at 4 p.m.

The event will be held on Macomb Place between North Walnut and Pine Street. Show hours are 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday.
