FORT MYERS, Fla. – Investigators are looking for a man suspected of swiping two rings from an antique shop in Fort Myers.
On December 4, the man pictured took the rings from Gannon’s Antique & Art Center on South Tamiami Trail right from a glass display case, according to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers.
Investigators said the man who appears to walk with a limp manipulated the lock on the case and was able to get to rings valued at $1300 total.
Authorities are asking anyone with information on the man’s identity to contact Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS.
A short-lived tornado formed near Fort Myers on Tuesday morning, bringing strong winds and severe weather to Lee County.
