A married Kelowna couple has reached their wit's end after searching for a missing wedding ring for more than a month.

"We've been together for 15 years now. We're about to have our second baby. So we really can't afford a new wedding ring."

Dominique Robson tells Castanet she and her husband Travis have turned their home upside down looking for the lost wedding ring, and after a month, she has decided to reach out to Castanet for help.

"We've turned our whole house upside down. We're kind of just hoping that maybe somebody has taken it, or someone has seen it? Because it's quite a unique ring," Robson says.

Robson says her husband usually takes his ring off when he showers or goes swimming, "he always puts it on the bar outside. We also have a two year old, so he puts it somewhere where our son won't be able to reach it and flush it down the toilet or put it in our fireplace."

Robson doesn't know where the ring could be but she's hoping that by putting it on display on Castanet someone might recognize the ring and they might have a chance of getting back.

"I just wanted to kind of see if anybody has, it's a unique kind of ring, because there's a black diamond in the middle of two white diamonds on either side. And it's a white gold ring. And I'm just wondering if there was any chance that somebody's seen it, or it's like, or maybe someone who owns a pawn store that maybe somebody brought it in and tried to sell it," says Robson.

Aside from the sentimental value of the ring, Robson says it originally cost $3,500, "we've been together for 15 years.
