A few ways we added an elevated look to this kitchen were through an unexpected cabinet hue, tall tower cabinets, mixed metal hardware, open shelves, and a custom hood as a focal point.

We love picking up on elements of our clients’ original space that they’re drawn to, without the help of a designer. Knowing what naturally inspires them tips us off on what details we can add to the end picture that’ll make them smile. In this case, it was spotting the stained glass piece in their window, and translating that to leaded glass in their cabinets.

The coastal theme comes through in the color palette, driftwood-inspired chairs, and artwork, without feeling too overstated. After all, we wanted them to have their true, Southern California dream home!

I love that you managed to utilize such a small space for a pantry! I’m doing a similar layout in my own new construction and I’m curious about what the dimensions of the pantry for this project were.

It’s approximately 4ft on each side. You can do a lot with a small space!

What were the ceiling heights in this kitchen? It looks like 8 feet in the before pictures, but the ceilings feel so much higher in the after photos!

About 9ft, but taking the cabinets to the top makes it look so much higher!

Which shade of Clare paint did you use on the cabinets and which Caesarstone color did you use for the countertop?
